ORCA Offshore performed a transport analysis for a wet ocean tow of a large concrete caisson. Scope included stability, longitudinal strength and dynamic loading.

2011-08 Sea Trucks Group - Marine Engineering for South Delta LQ installation
Scope for this work is a dynamic lift analysis and a mooring analysis for the JASCON 34 working in shallow water.

2011-06 Undisclosed Client - Dynamic Docking Analysis
A dynamic docking analysis has been performed to determine the limiting environmental condition based on the capacity of the docking system. Several crane vessels have been modelled and the docking loads as connected and docking impact loads have been determined.

2011-04 Shell NAM - Transport and Installation Consultancy and Interface management
ORCA Offshore has been hired by Shell/NAM to manage the interfaces between all parties involved regarding transport and installation of the first Riser Access Tower. Main goal will be to control the operational risk and to optimise the design for transport and installation within the limited time frame available.

2011-01 Coentunnel Construction V.O.F. - Stability analysis floating tunnel element
For the wet tow of a tunnel section a stability analysis has been performed.

2011-02 Tideway Offshore Contractors - Operational Decision Support System
Delivery of an offshore Decision Support system for one of the rock dumping vessels. The system will advise the vessel management regarding the loading condition of the fall pipe. The ODS system has been developed by ORCA Offshore and MarineObjects.

2010-12 IDEA Heavy Equipment - Calculation of Lift Dynamic Amplification Factor
For the lowering of a hydraulic hammer through the splash zone a calculation has been done to determine the DAF in the lift rigging.

2010-09 Carbon Trust Self Installing Wind Turbine - Marine analysis
ORCA Offshore delivered a marine model for the design of the SIWT. The model has been made available using the Online Marine Engineering internet interface. The model includes stability and multibody dynamics for transport and installation of the SIWT. Part of the scope was also to deliver time domain analysis to investigate certain critical steps of the operation.

2010-09 Venture/Centrica F3-Fa Transport and Installation - Operational Support
ORCA Offshore contributed to the successfull transport and installation of the 9000 ton self-installing platform for the F3-Fa field in the Dutch sector of the North Sea. ORCA delivered the client representative during transport and the assistant Superintendent for the offshore installation. Client: SPT Offshore


2010-08 Frøy Jacket Structural and Marine Design - Transport, Launch and Upend
For Heerema HFG Engineering Europe a marine and structural design study for a launch jacket has been performed. The study included checking of the marine behaviour and the structural strength of the jacket during transport, launch and upend.

2010-07 Svanen at Walney Offshore Wind Farm 2 - Dynamic Mooring and Monopile Transport Analysis
A quasi-static mooring analysis including vessel dynamic motions has been performed for the Svanen heavy lift vessel. Scope also included the mooring and transport for the self floating monopiles.
